A contemporary and fully integrated plant with advanced German technology forms the backbone of our operations. Our infrastructure houses the sophisticated melting division and rolling division with CNC machine. The processes are closely monitored to ensure that the purest raw materials are used to produce steel of the finest grade.

VELA is fully equipped and technically upgraded and having most modern plant capable of rolling superior quality TMT bars. The production facilities are followed up by modern laboratory and quality control system that includes German made Spectrometer, Universal Testing Machine and group of highly qualified and trained technicians.

Thermo Mechanically Treated steel is the new generation steel that has high strengths not obtained in any other process of steel making. Hot rolled steel bars are subjected to PLC-controlled online thermo-mechanical treatment over three successive stages namely quenching, tempering and atmospheric cooling .

This treatment converts the outer layer of the bar to hard martensite structure and inner core to fine ductile ferrite-pearlite structure.
